 First, our in house Off Grid design team will design a Solar and storage system specifically tailored to you...

Designing an off grid system sometimes isn't that simple or straightforward. With many factors to consider, we look at all the elements of an off grid home so that your lights are always on!

When we design your Off Grid home, we consider the following:
  • Property Occupants
  • How and when you use your power 
    • daytime/ nighttime
  • Appliances in your home
    • A/C, Pool, Spa, Pumps, Hot Water
  • The current costs of your power bills
  • Your roof type/ size/ age and accessibility
  • The power that runs in to your house (2 or 3 phase)
  • The condition and space in your switchboard 
  • The shading you experience on your roof seasonally
    • Tree's/ neighbouring structures year round
Then we go to work, designing your off grid system with the best components and quality products for you property!  We provide you with and Energy Analysis and the estimated yields and financial returns for your system. 

Bottom line, if we wouldn't install your system on our own roof, then we wouldn't install it on your property. That's our promise.

Did you know, installation is most critical to an "Off gridder"?

Yes, the design is critical, yet the installation is where your system is installed and commissioned to operate as it was designed by our own installers.

We understand just how important a system that has been poorly installed or incorrectly connected impacts your home and life.

Lights off or cold showers?  That's exactly what we ensure you'll never experience. And this is why Superpowers are in full flight - if your instal isn't completed correctly, then your new off grid system won't function as it should. 

And because we are an Electrical Contracting Company (we do not sub contract out our install work!) we can offer you the promise that your design, install and ongoing operation will be to the highest standard.

Your new or renewed Solar and storage system will perform in line with manufacturers warranties... and support your property energy usage, bottom line.

What to expect with installation...

Depending on the size of your home and equipment used, a system will typically take between one to three days to install.

The installation team lead by a CEC accredited Electrician, will arrive enthusiastically at 7am eager to kickstart, put the kettle on!

Join the morning safety meeting and complete all necessary paperwork so that you have an understanding of the project delivery. Coordination with you will include:
  • Safe access to your roof
  • Work areas on the ground and roof
  • Exclusion zones - so you don't accidentally walk under area's th e team are working
  • Power off windows - coordination with you the time and length of time the power will be turned off is important - make sure that your phone is charged! ;-)
We take care of the installation and keep you up to date and informed, we like to be in communication with our customers through out this exciting Solar and storage installation day!

And while we do our best work... if you happen to offer a cup of tea/coffee or biscuit, you'll no doubt be hear a "Yes please!"

And then, we're ready for Handover...!


When the noise has stopped, it means that we're done. You will be asked to download the latest apps in for monitoring your system and the Electrician will provide you with your login details.


Your installer will guide you through over the next 30 minutes to 1 hour of the ins and outs of your system;


  • What everything is and does
  • Shut down and start up procedure
  • How to reconfigure your Wifi connection
  • How to understand your monitoring
  • How to utilise your monitoring to save on power.


Remember, just because you have solar and battery, doesn't mean that you can leave the lights and heating on all night.


Learn how to use your solar or battery to help save money and the environment by using the power that you generate during the day! So timers for day use of washing, drying, pools, A/C's and so on.


This thrill and slight obsession will last about 2 weeks (driving your friends or family mad!) and when it tapers...
