Part of the Construction team of Australia's first Solar Panel recycling plant, Gedlec Energy proudly contributed to this 100% Australian owned and operated facility located in Thomastown, Victoria.

Capable of recycling more than 100 panels per hour and reclaiming 95% of the panel material currently, the facility will soon recycle 100% of every Solar panel that arrives at its site in 2022!

The facility also targeted the recycling of combustible cladding that has plagued Australia's building industry in recent years - recovering 100% of the combustible cladding materials through recycling and repurposing processes.
 
The process of innovating and developing this Recycling Plant for Solar panels and Building materials is truly a first of its kind and we hope to see more recycling plants emerge in the coming years!

$1 from every panel is donated to It's Time Foundation

Every panel that is removed for repurposing or recycling will have $1 donated to It's Time Foundation.  It's Time Foundation delivers renewable power solutions for remote Pacific Islands schools with the dual objectives of reducing carbon emissions and enhancing education in the target communities.
